Economic Outlook Report

Every month after the industrial production data are released, we update our economic, industry, and price models and prepare a quarterly forecast for US GDP and its components, light vehicles, housing, industrial production & capacity utilization, profits, prices, incomes, labor, interest rates, and foreign exchange. Over 40 key indicators in total. 

 

Our industry coverage is extensive and we present historical and forecasted output for 40 key industries. We use these to drive our forecasts for the 30 specialty & fine chemical segments that we quantify and follow. We have the capability to add other industries (from the 155 industries covered in our Business Barometer Service) should subscribers ask. We can also provide proprietary, private forecasts for clients. 

 

We also provide quarterly price forecasts for a variety of energy, industrial metals, precious metals, and agricultural commodities. Included are nearly 35 key commodities in total. We continue to add more. 

 

The monthly forecast update also includes the annual outlook for global GDP, inflation, trade and industrial production as well as GDP, inflation and unemployment for over 20 key nations and regions.
